Swipebox – not loading image until refresh

The Fancybox and prettyPhoto boxes seem to be working ok, but the latest version the Swipebox script does not load the image the first time it is clicked — just sticks on a black, empty screen you cannot click anything on or close.
If you refresh the page it does load properly the second time you click an image — and any image there after.
Worked before the upgrade. Not now.
