Switch from Prophoto blog to alternative

Dear WordPressers, for years I was pretty happy with the prophoto theme for wordpress but just like many other products, they moved to a subscription service – I cannot afford the monthly subscription service they offer and need to look for an alternative

Are there any photographers here that have successfully moved away from the prophoto theme to a good alternative? Which theme did you select?
