Switch language on untranslated post

Hi.

I’ve already seen this topic: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-retain-site-language-when-visiting-untranslated-post-types/ but I find the answer not being true.

I can access an untranslated post on both languages (not just the default one, as stated):
Portuguese
English

I can do that by going back to Home, switching language, and go back to the post.
But the language switcher isn’t able to do it by itself.

I really can’t have this post type translated, because it’s user submitted and I want it to be displayed on both languages.

Is there any way I can work around this? I’m willing to do some coding.
