Switch to Twenty Twenty Three

  • When I first set up my website, I decided to use the Crio website theme. I’m not in love with it, though, and I would like to switch to the Twenty Twenty Three theme. I like the simplicity of it and the Crio theme just seems to make the website feel “heavy.”

    However, when I switch themes I keep getting an error that says “failed to save.” None of my pages look correct. Is there an easy way to switch themes without having to rebuild my whole site?

  • Your site is currently not online, I am not sure if this is because of the error you mentioned earlier.

    There might be a conflict on your site, please attempt to disable all plugins, and use the Twenty Twenty-Three theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles. If you can install plugins, install and activate Health Check.

    It will add some additional features under the menu item under Tools > Site Health. On its troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins, and switch between themes, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues.
