The header images uploaded for TwentyEleven are gone when I switch to TwentyEleven-child. If I switch back, however, the images are still there.

How can I get TwentyEleven-child to reference those same images?

In the absence of another solution, I re-uploaded the images. Looks like it’s now a duplicate set in the system because each has a digit appended to the file name to make it unique.

Suggestion #1: Allow multiple file uploads for header graphics instead of having to do them one at a time.

Suggestion #2: Allow the header to be taken from the library, a URL or an uploaded file as is the practice in the media uploader.

Suggestion #3: Provide a link in the header control area to the media so unwanted header graphics can be deleted.

This feature in twentyeleven is why is used it instead of twentyten. It’s a nice piece of work and a little work on minor issues will improve its usability.
