• Hi i switched over companies for hosting wish I didnt as now its created tons of problems. I have now done everything needed (i hope) now when I go to the website it says happy kids theme doesnt exist anymore. If I change the theme will that mean my site will need redoing or will it remain the same? I spent a few hundred pound getting my site up and running and dont want to lose it

Try deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible. If none are, keep all plugins deactivated and switch to the Twenty Seventeen theme to check whether it’s an issue with your theme.

To first gain to your dashboard, try deactivating the plugins via ‘FTP’: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Common_WordPress_Errors#The_White_Screen_of_Death

What steps did you follow when moving over your site?

To not lose any data from your site, you need to transfer all the files via FTP, and import the previous database.

Thanks Andrew, if I try another theme will it not wipe all the information and make me start it all again? Surely the happy kids theme which i was using (i have only been offline for a few days), should be still online?

I will try deactivating some add ons though, i have had a few errors occuring with them too.
