Switched URL – images urls not updating

  • Hi guys,

    I changed my wordpress’ url from draewrites.draebox.com to books.draebox.com and am now having issues with the images.

    The images are still trying to be sourced from the old url, so they’re broken. I’ve tried reuploading a few but they still try to locate the images at the old sub-domain.

    Any suggestions to fix this? I can access the SQL database is needed to make edits.

    You’ll have to update the domain in your database. Of course you should make sure it’s backed up before making any updates.

    To correctly update your database, you’ll have to use one of the four options listed here:
