Hello,

If I visit our site and choose Functional Cookies, the site works correctly and items like Google Maps are hidden behind a Cookie notice.

If we then Allow cookies (from the Settings tab on the page), the map shows/functions correctly.

However, if we then click Complianz’s “Settings” button again and revert back to Functional Only Cookies, the map still works and other areas of our site, which rely on cookies also function (they shouldn’t of course, and didn’t previously).

I didn’t notice this issue until recently, but could be related from when we updated from V5.03 to 5.25? (We are still on V5.25)

I’ve tried disabling caching but that did not solve the issue.

Hi @klous-1,

Could you try configuring a banner with categories instead?

Please navigate to Complianz > Cookie banner > Banner settings and set “Categories” to “Accept all + categories”.

Thanks for the quick reply.

That seems to work. Is there some reason the Accept/Deny doesn’t work? Or something we can do to make it work?

Not sure if it will make tomorrows update, otherwise the next one.
