Switching caching on breaks site

    Hello,

    right after switching on the caching option the site stops working! Just loads of garbage numbers and letters will be displayed. I already disabled all other plugins and switched the theme from Avada to Twenty Twenty-One for testing to no avail. Minifying works just fine and is enabled right now, but how can I fix the caching problem?
