    Hello,

First off, I apologize if I am posting a question that has already been answered (or if my question seems stupid to begin with), but WordPress is really confusing and overwhelming to me.

Just to set this up- my business partner is from Europe (and has set up my website) so I have a feeling that that has something to do with why I’m having issues with this date format. He takes care of most of the advanced type things but I need to be able to update the website with simple things like photos and upcoming shows etc. When I go to put in a date, there is a drop down calendar which is great for me (simpler the better, remember?) but the date still shows up as Little-endian when I need it in US format or Middle-endian. I’ve already gone into Settings>General and changed the date format there, but nothing changes on the website. If any one could help me figure this out that would be wonderful and I would be extremely appreciative. I hope it’s nothing too advanced! (crossing fingers) X-P

    Thank you,
    David

  • Could you give some more details.
Where are you putting the dates (i.e in a Post or a Page or a widget)?

Date format can be handled by your theme. It might be in single.php. Normaly it should be coded like this: the_time( get_option( 'date_format' ) ).
Check Formatting Date and Time on how to get the desired format.

Thanks guys- your comments directed me to the place where I was able to (very easily) change it! I went to Theme Settings>Pages>Events then there was a drop down menu for Event Date Format which gave me the option to change to what I needed.

    Thanks again!!!
    David
