Then, move the site properly following this guide: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Moving_WordPress#Changing_Your_Domain_Name_and_URLs

Alternatively, skip changing the URLs back and jump straight to step 5 in the moving guide.

I reached out to a few people to find out what was going on and it seems they told you to update your site address too early. There is also a domain transfer going on that can take up to 5 days. You may want to contact support again and ask about the status of the domain transfer. Once that is complete, then you will need to update the urls using a tool like Velvet Blues.
