Switching from the testing site

Sorry if this is a dumb question but…

I already have a site on GoDaddy that I wanted to keep live while I worked on the new WP site. I installed WP on the the test. Like this> https://www.albrechtinspect.com/test.
Now I want to make it live. I have had to restore the site 2 times because I did it incorrectly. It also wouldn’t let me lob back into to WP.

Can some nice soul give me step to step instructions on how to do this. And how do I back up the WP site?
