    I nee to pay someone to help me and show me how to backup wordpress files from one hosting companies account and move them to another hosting companies account. I’ve tried taking the files off the ftp and placing them into the new ftp account but the site comes up “database error”?

    Someone please help.

  • Yes beacuse you have to copy also the database in the new host, did you do that?

    I’m not sure what you mean by copy the database? In the new host or the old one?

    You have to copy the database FROM the old host TO the new one…you can export the DB of the old host and then go in the new host and create a new DB and import the table from the old!
