• Hello,

My client is receiving two notifications for every job application submitted –?one via the ‘contact email’ field, the other from the ‘application email’ field (these two fields are always set up to go to the same person… which is why they’re getting two notifications).

Is there a way of disabling the ‘contact email’ notification? That way they’ll just receive the one notification via aplitrak.com

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I think the easiest way to do this is to simple remove the contact email from the feed. Therefore this field would always be empty and no email would get sent to that contact email address.

Hi Mark (and thanks for replying so quickly –?it’s really appreciated)

Would that involve asking Broadbean to make the change to the feed, or should I be editing a file at my end?

The easiest way without you having to write some code and hook into the plugin would be to tell Broadbean to send nothing in that XML field.

Cheers –?I’ve contacted Broadbean and hopefully they can take it from here. Thanks again for your help ??

Hi Mark, Do you know if Broadbean resolved this issue by changing the XML feed?

I recently had a similar situation, and I asked Broadbean to remove the contact email from the jobs feed, which they’ve replied they did.

Broadbean did a job application test, but now rather than the two responses being sent from the WP Broadbean plugin, no application response was sent to them.

As you know, Broadbean just want one job application response to be sent.

    Any other solution to this?

    Many thanks.
