switching over to www.ads-software.com

Hello,

I am a complete newbie here. I had a website at wordpress.com (was sweetsinseason.wordpress.com, then I bought my own domain with wordpress.com and switched it to asweetbaker.com) then I decided to go to www.ads-software.com so I could customize my site more. I bought a webhost at hostgator.com and changed my DNS nameservers on wordpress.com to the ones I was given from hostgator. I even managed to import all my files to the www.ads-software.com site and upload my new template from Genesis. But now when I try to go to my website it still takes me to the wordpress.com site. Is it because I have to wait for the 60 days to go by or am I doing something wrong. I am a newbie and have been trying to figure all this out on my own. Can you help?
