    Yes, blank matters.
    Place your cursor right after the last ?> and keep the Delete button pressed fro a few seconds. Save the file. Upload via ftp.

    OK, I took a closer look at it.
    Downloaded your theme and I have a local 2.2.2 install on my machine; uploasded the theme there.
    The theme works perfectly without any issue.

    I have exactly the same problem. I followed your instructions above – except that I used the “Edit File with Code Editor” option on Bluehost cPanel X.

    After deleting the space and saving the changes, I tried to get into my admin page but to no avail. I still get the same error.

    I’m about to really give up on this theme already but I don’t know how to make the switch without going through the WordPress Admin.

    Please advise. Thanks!
