    Hi there,

I was wondering if I can switch to a whole different page when using the language switcher.
Basically I have 2 long texts already translated and I just make 2 different pages and switch between them with the switcher from the plugin.

Is that possible, and if not can I use code to make it myself?

    Best regards,
    Andreas

    Hello Andreas,

Thank you for getting in touch with us!

TranslatePress works string by string instead of page by page. Each string is saved into the database and displayed when requested – there are no duplicate pages created for the translated versions of your posts/pages.

You could redirect your users to a different page through the switcher but it would not be the best approach.

Our conditional shortcode might be more suitable in this case:

    Best wishes,
