Switching to Mac Issues

    I’m switching to a Mac today from a PC and I’m wondering if there are any issues I need to address WordPress-wise before doing so. I’d appreciate your input. Thanks

    OK…I hate to be a pain in the butt, but I’m going to the Apple Store in a half-hour. I would really like some insight into what I need to know regarding WordPress (if anything) when switching from PC to Mac.
    Please, if you know anything about this, let me know. Thanks

    If you do most of your wordpress stuff via the web, not much will change, except your FTP client and text editor. And possibly your browser. If you have a local development environment, look into using MAMP.

    I switched from PC to Mac about a month ago. I had problems formatting in WordPress with the Safari browser. Nobody at the Apple Store could explain it, but I downloaded Firefox and all has been well ever since.

    Hey , thanks for the quick responses…so, I’m off to the store. Sounds like with Firefox everything should be OK.
