Switching to Subdomain

  • Hello!

    I’m switching my blog to a subdomain format to:

    blog.domain.com

    from/ instead of

    domain.com/blog

    Question: I update IP addresses, then, in the General Settings page, what do I change the URL settings to? I figure, if possible I can keep the blog subdirectory as is and just change IP mapping. Does that work?

    Also, do I have to change anything else in the WordPress admin or anywhere else? Plugins? Analytics? SEO? Any advice?

    Just wanted to run it by you guys before I change! Any help would be great.
