• Dear aThemes,

    I’m very fond of Sydney – less so after having updated to 2.11 today…

    I have read other posts on same topic and managed to reset header menu and widget colours in Customize.

    What remains are the following problems – where colour is back to original-red despite it previously defined with your help in CSS as #61894e:

    1. Underline in slider/hero area
    2. Small ‘signatures’ in Testimonials area
    3. Little ‘dots’ indicating another page – for example Blog posts in mobile view.

    I hope you can help (and if it involves ‘hard refresh / flush cache’ as I read in other cases, would you provide a small how-to on that too, please;-)

    Best regards,
    Hanne

  • Hello,

    Sorry to hear about the issues you’re having. What you’re seeing is, unfortunately, a bug. It will be corrected in the next version. Meanwhile, please go to Customize > Additional CSS and add this:

    .roll-testimonials .name {color: #dadac3;}
    .text-slider .maintitle:after, .owl-theme .owl-controls .owl-page.active span, .owl-theme .owl-controls.clickable .owl-page:hover span {background-color: #dadac3;}
    .owl-theme .owl-controls .owl-page span { border: 2px solid #dadac3; }

    Another challenge identified following my first query above – in that background colour in sections of front page as well as single pages now has turned white where it was earlier #f4f3df – and still is appearing as such in Customising/Colours/General/Background colour…

    Your assistance with turning it back to how it was will be very welcomed – the whole site has a very different appearance now…

    These inconveniences arising from updates – as I can see in this forum that many others also have problems with – would they be eliminated if I started using a child theme, please?

    Best regards,
    Hanne

    Hello,

    We’re going to correct the background issue in the next version.

    Hello vladff,

    Thank you for answers to both of my questions. CSS ‘repair’ worked beautifully for getting rid of the red underlines/signatures/dots – and I shall be looking forward to getting my coloured background back in the next version.

    Thanks again for your swift assistance.
