    Hello,

    I created a sydney theme site that I’m quite happy with. However, I just found out that though the website is responsive it is ‘not mobile friendly’ according to the google mobile friendly test.

    I installed the jetpack plugin and activated the mobile site. When I look at my website from my phone, however, it looks completely different… colors/font and extra headings that are not on the desktop. It is quite ugly:(. Help please! What can I do to fix this? I have been on the jetpack support site but I cannot find the solution to make this mobile site mirror the desktop one.

    Thank you so much for your response.

    Thank you so much Roman.

    Disabling the mobile feature changed the appearance of the mobile site! However, I noticed that the menu does not appear on it on any of the pages.

    I will have to figure out how to help visitor navigate the mobile site another way.

    Thanks again Roman.

    Follow up: I came across this thread:

    and applied the css code awan suggested. #mainnav-mobi {
    display: block !important;
    float: none;
    }
    #mainnav-mobi ul li {
    float: none;
    display: inline-block;
    padding: 0 14px;
    }
    #mainnav-mobi ul li a {
    position: relative;
    float: left;
    padding: 0;
    }

    The menu now shows up but…

    it is cutting across the front page pictures and heading text. Is there a way to tweak the code to make the black background of the menu more transparent?

    Thank you Roman.

    Hello,

    Your mobile menu button is white on white background, so it’s invisible.

    Please change Mobile menu button color in Customize → Colors → Header section.

    Kind Regards, Roman.

    Thank you for your response Roman. I have corrected the color on the menu button. However, the black background I was referring to is showing up on the menu directly from viewing it on my iphone instead of the viewing it from the mobile version from my desktop.

    In other words, if I’m on my desktop and I check the changes on my mobile view I see the menu button only, which is good. But, if I actually look at my website directly from my iphone, there is a black menu bar with white text that is partially covering the header slider images.

    Unfortunately, I cannot send you a screenshot of my phone but if you wouldn’t mind looking at the website from your phone, you will see what I mean.

    I was hoping to change the black menu background to something more transparent so that the images below can still be seen.

    Thank you again Roman.

    Hello,

    Please try to remove the CSS code that you mentioned above.

    Kind Regards, Roman.

    You are welcome! ??

    Kind Regards, Roman.
