Sydney Theme Migration Issue

I am attempting to migrate my website to a new host and make some url restructuring changes. The original developer created my site as https://mysite.com/wordpress and I’m trying to convert the url to just https://mysite.com. However when I attempt to migrate and change the wordpress location, the site appears but loses all of the theme settings. I’m sure it’s because of some serialized data in the theme, but I figured I’d go straight to the Sydney source to figure out how I can do this.

My version of Sydney is Version: 1.35.
