    Hello,

I need help with one of my pages-posts page- because for some reason I can’t edit it with elementor. The problem seemed to appear when my hosting service had to remove the plugin “Sydney Toolbox-custom posts and fields” because it was conflicting with some other plugins. First the “edit with elementor” button did not appear, and after some changes I made it finally show. However it does not load, it keeps showing the message “the preview could not be loaded”. I tried enabling the safe mode, debugging the site, checking out permalinks, checking conflicting plugins, etc., but nothing has worked for now.

    Any ideas, please?
    Thanks a lot!

  • Hello,

Can you please disable the Coming Soon mode and leave here a note in order to let me check your site?

You can create a staging site for the troubleshooting purposes, here is a tutorial:

    Hello Roman,

thanks for help and your soon reply.
    It should be disabled now.

Okay, I’ve just checked your website, but I’m not sure what exactly is your issue. Can you please provide a link to an affected page and some explanatory screenshots?

You can upload screenshots to your WordPress Media Library and share a link, or you can use one of the online services (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).

    Kind Regards, Roman.

Sure. Please, check this wordpress media link: wordpress media
The screenshots 1 and 3 show the main pages that I am working on at the moment. The screenshot3 is the photo gallery (Gallery) where the front page menu and the logo are both visible. They should appear as well in the front page (screenshot 1), but they do not.
. The screenshot4 shows the error message I get when trying to open a posts-page (news-Novinky) with elementor (Posts page).

I believe all these troubles are coming from the same source, but I have no idea how to solve it (as you can imagine, my knowledge on programming is zero and this is my first website ever). I searched for conflicting plugins and it seems that “custom icons for elementor” was slowing down the site very much, so I deactivated it.
I don’t know how to proceed though.

Hope the information I am sending is useful.
    Best regards,
    Ines

    Hello Ines,

I can not access your screenshots, unfortunately. You have sent the admin area link, so I can’t see the content without logging in. Here is how you can copy the direct links:

    Hello Roman,

that’s right, I am very sorry. Let’s see if it works now:

Screenshot 1 (Photo gallery page): Menu and logo are visible.

Screenshot 3 (front page): No menu neither logo visible.

Screenshot 4 (posts page): not possible to edit with elementor. Error message.

Hello Ines, thank you for the screenshots.

Did you try to deactivate all your plugins except the Elementor?

    Kind Regards, Roman.

    Hello Roman,

thanks for your message. Yes, I’ve tried just now but the problems persist.
Menu and logo are still missing (only in the front page) and posts-page cannot be edited with elementor.

    Any ideas how to proceed?

    Thanks!

    Okay Ines,

Menu and logo are still missing (only in the front page)

I can see your menu and logo here: https://erimetsa.cz/
However, there is “Oops! That page can’t be found” error.

posts-page cannot be edited with elementor

Please create a new topic for this issue to make it easier to help you.

    Kind Regards, Roman.

    Thanks Roman!

Okay, now the front page is published so it should be visible.
Please, let me know if you still cannot see it.
As suggested, I’ll create a new topic to solve the issue with elementor, thanks!

    Best regards,
    Inés

    Hello Inés,

I have just checked your home page with the browser tools and noticed that you are using the Elementor Canvas page template. Try to use the Front Page template instead of Elementor Canvas, it should help.

    Kind Regards, Roman.
