Sync email address changes from WordPress user to Mailchimp profile?

    Hi there,

    Curious to see if this integration can pick up an email address change from a user/customer in their user profile and automatically update their Mailchimp profile?

  • Hi @heatheracton,

    The MailChimp for WooCommerce plugin utilizes the billing email address when syncing information back over to the MailChimp list. Since the billing address for the order is not tied to the customer/user profile there are no changes synced over after the customer profile is changed. I can see how that would be a really useful feature to work from the customer profile/information though. I’ll be passing along some internal feedback on that email address being updated to the most recent customer address.

    Great to know – thank you! Yes, it would be great if the user profile email address is synced, but we know for now to communicate about the billing email to stay connected. Thanks!
