Sync is not working

  • Hi there,

    Sync is currently stuck on:

    Products: 1192/1245

    Orders: 9106/13939

    Last Updated: Fri, Jun 16, 2017 8:17 AM

    And none of the automations have ever worked (although I got them to work on a dev site).

    Can you offer any advice?

    Hey there @rubious,

    I apologize we missed the original post here. I’ve read over this so far and would like to assist in troubleshooting.

    Looking over the system status report, I can see the site does meet the minimum requirements to run the plugin. Next, I’d like to test for any theme or plugin conflicts that could be at play.

    — When switching to a different theme, does the issue persist?
    — When temporarily deactivating all plugins except for WooCommerce and MailChimp for WooCommerce, does the issue persist?

    Additionally, are there any specific products or orders that do not appear in MailChimp from the WooCommerce store? I’d like to confirm that the remaining products in the sync are active products and orders, and rule out the possibility of draft products or canceled/pending orders being included in those total counts.

    Thanks for walking through some of this testing. I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.

    This is a live and very busy website so switching themes and disabling plugins is going to be out of the question.

    Are you saying some of those numbers could be draft or cancelled/pending products/orders? If so then that would be about right, so it should be fine.

    We have started getting emails from the automation now so I think it’s all working, just showing incorrect numbers.

    I can certainly understand that troubleshooting with themes and plugins isn’t going to feasible with a busy website.

    You are correct. We have seen a trend where the sync page includes draft products and cancelled and pending orders in the total number of products.

    In this case, I’ve gone ahead and passed this case to our team internally so we can continue tracking volume on this issue and make some improvements to the Sync page moving forward.

    All that said, if you do notice anything else out of the ordinary or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to post again and let us know.
