• The “Sync Menu” option is not entirely clear. For example, on nestedpages.com the definition is given as:

After installing Nested Pages, a new menu will be available with the name “Nested Pages.” This menu is available for use in your theme just like any other WordPress menu. By default, menu syncing is enabled. To disable the sync, uncheck “Sync Menu” at the top of the Nested Pages screen. Recheck the box to enable it again and to run the sync.

    This could mean:

    1. That when enabled it syncs the nested pages arrangement to the nested pages menu.
    2. That when enabled it syncs the nested pages arrangement to another menu.

e.g., does it sync only with the nested pages menu? If one disables sync, where is it storing the menu order?

Under what circumstances would want to disable sync?

It seems to me that it would make sense to keep sync unchecked until one had made all menu changes and then to enable sync again to have them copied into menus…but can one do this? Or will menu items not correctly transfer?

Some clarity on this functionality would be greatly appreciated…

At this point my *guess* is that when enabled nested pages (which must save its arrangement in the options table) is synced only to the nested pages menu (whose navigation items as saved in the posts table).

    Thanks!
