Sync not Working

I understand that the products are not being synced from your WooCommerce store to your Square account. You mentioned that the categories have been synced, is that correct?

I’d recommend going over this doc Sync Issues and check if everything is setup correctly on your site.

Thank you for your response. I can confirm that it is all setup correctly as per the guide.

I completely wiped all items and categories from my Square account so that I could start fresh and after the “sync” had been running for about 2 days the only thing that is now showing is the categories but no products.

Have you checked with your host to ensure that background processing is enabled? Additionally, are SKUs set for all products?

Lastly, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Thanks for sharing the status report. In the status report, I see that Cron is not enabled on your site, please see: https://d.pr/i/xWSh9p

Cron is required to automatically initiate background sync on the site, can you please check with your web host and get WP Cron enabled?

Also, when you reach out to your web host, please confirm with them if background processing is enabled on your server.

If cron and background processing are both enabled, but the sync still fails, then I recommend conducting a conflict test on the site per the steps here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/#section-4

Hi,

Cron is enable externally as it was recommended by my host and many different people as a way of improving the performance of the site.

My host has confirmed that background processing is enabled on my server.

I did have some success last night with a sync after wiping everything and starting fresh but I was missing a number of products and categories. I then wiped again and now I am only getting categories through.

I will run a conflict test and have already experimented with disabling wordfence etc but no changes to the sync after doing this.

I have managed to get the sync to work, just ended up adding smaller batches of products at a time.

I am having some other issues with inventory syncs between square, woo and ebay but feel that would be for another post after I have monitored it for a while.
