Sync product weight from Square?

Unfortunately, the WooCommerce Square plugin does not support syncing weights. Currently, the synchronization covers the following product data:

• Product Name
• Product Price
• Product Description
• Inventory Count
• Product Image:
• Product Category

Cheers for the quick reply. Can I ask why not? The weight is fetched via the catalog API, is there a particular reason as to why it’s not utilised within Woocommerce?

Indeed, you’re right that Square’s Catalog API does have the capability to fetch product weight. However, the WooCommerce Square plugin is not designed to sync this particular piece of information.

However, we understand the importance of this feature for businesses like yours that rely on weight-based shipping. We’re continuously working on improving our products based on user feedback, and It would be great to have you add your ideas as a feature request, which is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements.

Nah, I was trying to look at some of the other feature requests (eg- https://woocommerce.com/feature-request/square-sync-options/). All of them redirect back to https://woocommerce.com/feature-request, which serves a 404.

We currently don’t have a link or directory that shows all feature requests because we handle them product wise. This means that each plugin has its own idea board. That’s why you’re encountering a “not found” error.

Mate, you’re totally missing the point. Like, you’re not even reading what I’m writing.

You sent me over to https://woocommerce.com/feature-requests/square/, to lodge a feature request for your Square plugin, right? Go ahead and click on the link, what do you see? You see a list of all feature requests for your Square plugin, right? (Image below to make sure you’re still following).

Now, click on one of those feature requests. Any of them. At all. Why might someone want to do this? Well, first of all, there’s only a snippet of the description showing. Secondly, you may want to join the many comments that have already taken place. Now once you click one of those feature requests, where do you end up? (If you’re not redirected back to https://woocommerce.com/feature-request/ then try this in an incognito window).

I’m not even sure why I’m even bothering explaining this to you, I was literally trying to help point out a glitch with the woocommerce feature request page at the moment. Doesn’t benefit me in the slightest.

Do something with this. Don’t do something with this. I don’t care. Up to you.

I just tried this and I was able to click on the individual feature requests, for instance:

If you’re getting redirected to a 404 page (https://woocommerce.com/feature-request/), please try clearing your browser’s cookie and cache or try on incognito or another browser, maybe even another network or device. Can you confirm this issue persists?
