Sync Products Individually without Variations

There is no way to sync each product individually. If this is something you would like to see in a future version, please do open a feature request on our ideas board here: https://ideas.woocommerce.com/ Ideas there are reviewed by our developers and product managers and prioritized according to demand.

I have opened a feature request. This seems to be an obvious omission of basic syncing so please upvote the request:

I just checked that one of the products has been synced with more than a hundred different variations in the Merchant Centre. This could actually be seen as a bug report rather than a feature request because by default a sync should normally be for individual products, not multiple variations.

The expected default behavior with the extension regarding variations is described in the documentation here:

Each individual single product and each variation (not variable product) needs to be submitted for each selected language.

For example – if a merchant has the following combination of products:

    10 * Simple Products
    1 Variable Product with 5 variations

You would expect to see 15 products because:

    10 Simple Products
    5 Variations

I understand that’s different from what you were expecting, however there are many merchants out there who do want their variations synced as well.

Perhaps we could do a poll to find out, but for the purpose of advertising it does not seem likely that most people would need separate products as variations for ten different colours or seven different size options of the same product (for example). There only needs to be one product with the option to choose any of the variation images/options after syncing.

Thank you for providing your point of view. While at the moment, WooCommerce handles variations differently, I’d recommend keeping an eye on the idea you have opened. Developers and other members of the community would pitch-in their idea there.
