Sync speed greatly affected by number of pages and plugins

Hi, it seems a great addon but I have noticed that the more pages are being added the sync speed gets slower and slower as a result the plugin is almost unusable. Adding more plugins further reduces the ajax speed. Basically the spinning wheel at the top freezes after a while.
