• Hello,

I’ve installed and set up the plugin following the instructions.
    What is working:
    – I can see my Google Calendar appointments as busy time on the appointments page on my website (the syncronization works from Google Calendar to the plugin)
    – I can see on Google Calendar the Test appointment made through the settings page
    – After confirming an appointment I can see it in the plugin (My Appointments, etc…), I get mail notifications,

    What is not working:
    – but I do not see the confirmed appointment in Google Calendar, neither after many hours…

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks!

    Hey there tizianos,

    How are you doing today?

Can you please check your Integration Mode option in Appointments -> Settings and try to set to A+ <-> GCal (Synchronization), see screenshot https://screencast.com/t/RzpVYqTroDa.

    Hope this helps ??

    Cheers,
    Bojan

Yes, it is already set as A+ <-> GCal ??

    Hey again tizianos

Do you have auto-confirm appointments set to yes? Otherwise appointments will not show up till they are actually confirmed. It can also take a few minutes or so before they sync. The syncing is dependent on how much activity there is on your site too, so the more people that visit, the more quickly the syncing will occur.

Are you also using the default calendar? if so, you need to actually create a second calendar to use because it can take several days for syncing with the main primary google calendar (this is an issue with google, not the plugin.)

    Best regards,

    – No, I have auto-confirm set to no because I want to check the appointments before confirming. But then I manually confirm appointments from the backend as admin and as a “test client” I get the mail confirmation. So no problems “inside” the plugin: the schedule then shows the confirmned appointment as busy time.
    – I’m not using the default calendar on GCal but another one, which was already created and shared with another address (a colleague) before I installed Appointments. Could that be an issue?
    – I don’t get a ton of visits, but there are several dozens/a hundred, plus the Test function works immediately.

I can’t guarantee it, you can create a new one just for sake of testing and making sure this is not the thing that is causing the issue.

I tried creating a new calendar from scratch, but nothing changed: I can post the test appointment without problems, but when the appointment is made from the frontend and confirmed in the backend, it doesn’t show up on GCal even after a big while… ??

    Hey again tizianos,

Can you please double check this: if you have a service provider, you would need to log in to that service provider account, go to the “profile” link inside of wordpress on the left menu, there if you scroll down you will see google calendar options for this provider. Can you try adding the information there as well

    Hope this helps.

Ok, it seems this was the issue… I am the only service provider (is it needed to have a service provider?), and I didn’t think I had to set as YES the first option in settings (“Allow Service Providers for Google API Integration”), then copy the settings in my profile page!

    Thanks!

    Hey again,

It is needed in this case, we can use different shortcodes that will force calendar to select that provider so you don’t have to display it on the front, please let me know if you want to do this.

Glad we managed to get this to work ??

    Cheers,
    Bojan
