• Hello,

I was happily using WP Offload Media (by DeliciousBrains) for a couple years until, a couple days ago, I updated it. And it broke my site. Apparently there is a new issue with it and Divi. I followed every suggestion, nothing fixed it. Updated and rolled back Divi. Upgraded and updated, and downgraded and rolled back WP Offload. Rolled back everything else, ran backups, the lot. Nothing worked.

But everything goes back to normal when I deactivate WP Offload.

    EXCEPT, all my images disappear!

How can I reconnect my images to my WordPress site, without using WP Offload? All my images are on an Amazon Bucket.

I started downloading them to upload to the site but I have years of daily posts, so that could be a very long job!

    Any ideas please?

    Thanks.

You could try one of the other Amazon/media plugins. I’d be surprised if any are a drop-in replacement though. I suspect whatever mechanism Offload Media uses to do its thing is not identical to what other plugins do.

Is there any indication that Delicious Brains is working to resolve the conflict with Divi? It may be better to wait for a fix than attempt to get a different plugin to work in its place. I suspect at the very least some code hacking would be involved to get another plugin to fill Offload Media’s place. Sadly, I cannot think of any kind of workaround you could do in the interim other than what you are already doing, moving images to the WP installation. Clearly not a good solution for all of your existing posts.

I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to at least try a few other plugins on the off chance they’re simply a drop-in replacement. While unlikely, there is a slight chance.
