    Hello,

I just wanted to be sure before synching. If we have products in ready2order and a fresh woocommerce shop where we just created the categories: There is no danger of deleting the products in ready to order, right?

And second: was it wrong to establish categories in woocommerce manually? How will products be assigned to the categories.

    Thanks a lot in advance!
    Johann

    Hey Johann,

Thanks for reaching out to us. As long as you only configure the settings inside the Import Products section of the plugin – no interaction will happen with the products in ready2order (so make sure that all settings inside the Export products section is turned off).

In regards to the categories – there is a setting in the Import products section that will allow you to create categories in WooCommerce from the product groups in ready2order. I would say this is the most efficient option to assign the products to the categories in Woo.

Of course you can also skip this option, import the products directly to Woo (without assigning them to any category) and once they are in Woo you can manually assign each product to the categories that you created.

It is all up to you ??
