Synchronize wordpress users with other platforms?

  • Matt should hire someone to create an API that allows you to connect other apps to wordpress for integrating users.

    For example, i looove Prestashop, the free eCommerce solution.

    It’d be neat to have users synched so they don’t have to register twice for blog and for store.

    For example, it’d be kinda like “facebook Connect” except for your own site. You can put this feature on any other apps you have like drupal, osCommerce, Prestashop, etc, etc so that users can log in easily.

    Lastly, if user is logged in to wordpress install already, you can have other apps automatically recognize this so there’s no need to log in again on other apps. etc etc

    can someone please do this?
