I am creating a website for a band whose main online presence is currently Facebook, so I was quite happy to find this extension. I’m trying to get everything squared away before I sit down with the client in person and get him set up with a FB developer account.

Does the plugin allow (public) events to be synced from FB pages the user doesn’t administrate? I would have thought yes but further investigation is causing me doubts – I am trying to set things up with my account, and I am not an admin; no events are syncing. I get this error: No valid Facebook session for this app detected, private events will NOT be synced.

I was uncertain of my setup anyway. The only App ID and App Secret I could find on Facebook’s developer site were those associated with FB apps, not access by outside software. My reading on the access token page leads me to believe the App ID can be a user ID and the Secret some kind of Access Token. I generated a User Token for myself on the Graph API Explorer page. The other option that seems quite reasonable is a Page Token, which of course I can’t get myself, together with the User ID of a page administrator.

It seems to me also likely that I’m completely off base. Can you clarify? Thanks in advance.
