Hi, have just started using this plugin and all going mostly well, just noticed that the products are starting to appear in Google Shopping but the Shipping Cost shown is the Highest Rate. We have Flat Rate Shipping with about 10 different Shipping Classes, each Product will have a Normal Rate, a Rural Rate , Click-and-Collect or Free Shipping if over a certain price. I am wanting Google Shopping to show the Normal Rate but it is only showing the Highest Rate for each Product which would be the Rural Rate how do I change this? Thanks in advance.

  • Hi there @drewblu ??

just noticed that the products are starting to appear in Google Shopping but the Shipping Cost shown is the Highest Rate

Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help you with this!

For more advanced shipping settings, it is best to use the corresponding shipping setup feature in your Merchant Center.

Google has a support article on how to setup advanced shipping configurations within your Merchant Center here:?https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6069284

Furthermore, feel free to check out the related documentation, directly linked here.

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know. We’re happy to help.

    Hi Pepe,

Thank you for the response, I have had a good look through the documentation and in Google Merchant but it doesn’t seem like it is going to work for our purposes.

What currently happens is each product in Woocommerce is assigned a Shipping Class (for different size satchels/bags or a Courier based on what satchel/courier the product will fit into) we don’t use size/weight measurements for each product and no different prices for different sending locations and the Shipping Rate isn’t determined by a Product Price Range so I can’t see how I can configure Shipping Attributes in Google Merchant.

Google Shopping is showing the correct Shipping Class for each product – only it is showing the higher price (rural) instead of the Normal (non-rural) rate it is also showing Free Shipping if the product meets that criteria.

Do you have any ideas how I can achieve this or will it only work if I assign Weight/Dimensions to each product?

    Thanks.

Hi, it looks like I may have worked it out, will wait for the changes to reflect in Google Shopping to see if what I have done has worked.

    Hi @drewblu

I’m glad you were able to find a solution to your inquiry here.

Hi, yes, Google Shopping has re-synced with the updates I made in Google Merchant and everything is showing exactly how I need it to. Thank you.
