    Hi,

I have several issues and appreciate your help:

    1. I use woocommerce Version 2.0.0 and it’s synced with my FB shop.
I have 2 currencies in my shop managed by WPML. since I connected the shop to an Israeli FB account I would like the shop to present the products in NIS and not USD.
I made sure I updated the products in English NOT to show on FB and the products on Hebrew to show.
However, both options appear on FB shop

    2. I used a staging site to test a few products and although the staging site is deleted already, I can still see the products I added, although they are fake and for testing purposes only.

    3. I have multiple items shown as well as items that I totally deleted from FB still appear.

    appreciate your help
    Thanks

  • Hi @cutenmore,

Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help you with this!

It sounds like you have a few different questions here, so I’ll look at them one-at-a-time ??

The WPML settings should have an option for how to handle Facebook product syncing when both plugins are active. Would you please share how you have this set up in the WPML settings?

    2. I used a staging site to test a few products and although the staging site is deleted already, I can still see the products I added, although they are fake and for testing purposes only.
At this time, deleting a site will not remove products from your Facebook shop. You will need to remove your products first and then delete your site. This should certainly not be the case, so I will make sure to add a note for our development team to review this for future updates.

    3. I have multiple items shown as well as items that I totally deleted from FB still appear.
As mentioned above, products will not currently be removed simply by removing your site. If you did remove products individually and they are still showing, please let me know so I can help figure out what might be happening here.

Would you please let me know about the WPML settings so we can try to get that fixed up for you?

    Thanks,
    Marcus

    Hey Marcus,
thanks a lot for your feedback ??

the WPML setting are as follows: https://prnt.sc/txq4cu (Hebrew is checked and not English)

And my FB shop still presents USD: https://prnt.sc/txq4cu

I deleted the items manually from the catalog page on facebook now I don’t see those items anymore, so I guess we’re left with the USD issue ??
BTW one item for some reason has NIS (so I kept both on the shop for now) It appears as a copy that I don’t when was created..

thanks again for helping me out

    Hi @cutenmore,

Thanks for following up here. I’m afraid that the first link (the WPML screenshot) also links to a screenshot for your Facebook shop.

Would you please send that screenshot again so I can see what the settings look like?

    Thanks,
    Marcus

    sorry about that!
    here it is: https://prnt.sc/txxwbl

    Hey @cutenmore,

No worries! Thanks for sharing the screenshot.

When Facebook is looking to update your products in your Facebook shop, it reaches out to your site and asks for a product “feed file”, which our plugin generates for Facebook. To be sure all of your products are being added in NIS, would you please compare your WooCommerce products to the feed file and then send me a copy of that as well? You can find the feed file via FTP in your site under /wp-content/uploads/facebook_for_woocommerce/ and it is a CSV that starts with “product_catalog”.

    Thanks,
    Marcus

    Hey Marcus,

I am not sure I know how to provide what you’ve been asking ??
Couldn’t locate the “product_catalog”. (I really don’t know how to dive real deep in that wp-content stuff, but as far as I could see I couldn’t find that CSV.
I’m afraid I don’t understand how to compare the WooCommerce products to the feed file?
    Sorry about that

    Hey Marcus.

I have the latest plugin update, when clicking on “Manage Connection”
    https://prnt.sc/tzjqa5

    Hi @alolifer,

Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help you with this!

Since this issue is a separate issue from the one stated in the opening message of this thread, can I get you to please create a new topic here?

    Thanks,
    Marcus

    Hi @cutenmore,

Thanks for keeping me updated here.

When you navigate to your Facebook for WooCommerce settings area and go to the “Product Sync” tab, are you able to see and click the “Sync products” button to force a re-sync?

    Looking forward to hearing more.

    Thanks,
    Marcus

Products are synced, and you can also sync them again.

Error in another as I pointed out above, if you click on ” Manage Connection” then I get thrown to facebook with an error https://prnt.sc/tzjsok

    Hey @cutenmore,

It has been a while since we heard from you, so I’m going to mark this topic as resolved. If you’re still experiencing issues please take a look at our documentation for more information and create a new thread if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
    Marcus
