    Hi,
we have in the contact form for the From field this mail-tags:
    [your-name] [your-surname] <[your-email]>
    Whats wrong with this mail-tags?
Your form shows the text: This field has syntax errors.
Then wo go to your site https://contactform7.com/configuration-errors/
There are no infos about this issue?
We get all emails from the contact form with the right content. And the right sender email and name.
    Why syntax errors.
and by the way… Before validating the contac form… we have in every site in the backend first on top of the page your info to validate the contact form. It is not possible to disable this before validating.
We like your plugin… but dont do that. Ich should be enough to show this info only in the contact form area, but not everywhere!

    Regards
    Roland

Is your question the reason why [your-name] [your-surname] <[your-email]> is considered as a wrong syntax as the From field value? If so, the reason is that the your-email field doesn’t exist in your form, or it isn’t a required email field (email*), so [your-email] can be blank or non-email text.

Though there is a way to disable the configuration validation, I don’t suggest you use it because you seem to have a lot of misconfiguration you should fix soon.

    Hi Takayuki Miyoshi,
we have the text* or email* in the form fields. But in the from field we need only [your-email] or [your-name]
But now we understand the function of the sender address. It is not allowed to use here the email address from the form user.
The email address from the form user is the Additional header: Reply-To: [your-email]
    Now all is valid!
Thanks for your help to understand your contact form.

    Regards
    Roland
