Syntax error

    Im getting this error message when trying to log into my site after updating to the latest version of username changer

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/stbarnab/public_html/wp-content/plugins/username-changer/includes/libraries/s214-settings/source/class.s214-settings.php on line 1270

    Managed to login after deleting plug in files

    hi, I am using username-changer plugin. yesterday an update of plugin version 3.1.1 occurred. the message that is occurring is
    “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /wp-content/plugins/username-changer/includes/libraries/s214-settings/source/class.s214-settings.php on line 1270”.

    hi, still this error appears after updating it. please fix it as soon as possible. still 4 months no reply comes. due to which we can,t update it. please suggest me solution.
