Syntax error

    Hi, I am getting this error since the last upgrade and now my site won’t load the admin or front side:

    PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/sites/XXXX.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/header-footer/plugin.php on line 33: /home/sites/XXXX.uk/public_html/index.php

    How do I fix this please?

    I found my answer, the .htaccess file was calling php5.3! I removed this line and the site came back.
