I thought I’d just let you know that the latest update to docket cache, which was applied automatically on one of my sites, caused a syntax error. The error was ‘Unexpected ) in plugins/docket-cache/includes/src/Tweaks.php on line 633’.

I’ve moved the plugin out of the plugins dir to fix this at the moment, but possibly you could have a look?

    Hi @simonhawketts,

Thank you for reporting this issue.

That error came from the “Deactivate WP Embed” options when enabled. Some code to filter causes unpredictable results on some themes.

Please try the latest version 21.08.07, and see if it fixes this issue.

    Thanks.

Hi – as I said I removed the plugin from the dir so I can’t for sure say which version it was, but since it auto updated and version 21.08.07 has only just been released I would guess that was the version that caused the issue.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your response.

The 21.08.07 version was released after your report, and maybe fix the issue on line 633 plugins/docket-cache/includes/src/Tweaks.php.

If possible, you may try to install and activate it again and see if the issue still exists. Your confirmation is most welcome and helps to improve this plugin.

    Thanks.

    Hi

Ah – ok. I’ve re-installed from the add plugins page, confirmed that it is now version 21.08.07 which is running, and I can confirm that the issue is now resolved.

    Thanks
