• I am having problems activating the Event Registration 6.00.18 plugin. Whenever I do on WordPress 3.3.2 it throws up a Syntax error. Error says:

“Plugin could not be activate because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’ in /var/www/…./wp-content/plugins/event-registration/evr_three_cal.php on line 272″

NB: I have replaced my file structure with ‘…’ instead.

Now I have read other syntax error issues on the support website where the WordPress plugin is not installed in the root directory. My WordPress install is a folder down. Will this be causing the problem or is there any other issues? I have an old copy of the plugin version 5.43 which installs and activates fine.
