Love the plugin. Thanks for making it.
Works great in my dev environment. Pushing it LIVE gives me this error…
    Any thoughts?

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘Class’ (T_CLASS) in /plugins/sku-shortlink-for-woocommerce/vendor/wponion/wponion/core/integrations/page-builders/class-elementor.php on line 69

  • Update the plugin to the last version should solve the problem.
I had a conflict with WP Page Bakery and as soon as I updated it was fixed.

    Thanks for the response.
Actually, I’m running Sku Version: 1.3.1. Sorry, I forgot to put that in the post.

So… the problem is Elementor and SKU Shortlink aren’t playing well together (at least for me).

I disable all other plugins, activate SKU Shortlink, and everything is still fine. But the second I activate Elementor the site goes down (with that error).

    Elementor 2.5.16
    SKU Shortlink: 1.3.1

Just did a fresh install from scratch. Same error, and the only plugins installed were sku and elementor. Fresh database, no custom files, twentyNineteen theme.

Let me know if you have any ideas for me.

    Thanks

@aboutwd Thanks for reporting the issue.

I was able to replicate it and fixed it.
well i am working on the release which would take a day or two for me.

@aboutwd if you need to get this fixed on your own please follow the steps below .

    Step 1 : Open the File /plugins/sku-shortlink-for-woocommerce/vendor/wponion/wponion/core/integrations/page-builders/class-elementor.php

Step 2 : Replace its contents from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wponion/wponion/development/core/integrations/page-builders/class-elementor.php

    Step 3 : Save & Upload

    Thats it will work.

Wow… Thanks for the fast response(s)

So, that didn’t actually solve it for me. I get the same error, except the “class” has a lower case “c” now.

I’m going to try it on a fresh install and see what happens. I can wait for the official update too. I’m not under too much time pressure personally.

Thanks again. I really appreciate the effort fixing this.

Your suggested fix actually DID work on my blank install… so obviously I have something else going on too. I will report back if I find the issue.

    Thanks again for your help.

A blank install on my public server (Hostgator VPN) gives me the same results – the error. Works fine locally (WAMP). Hmmm..

Any idea if there are settings I need to change on my server?

@aboutwd issue fixed and released in v1.3.2
