Syntax Highlighter plugins do not work

    Hello everyone!
    I have been having a LOT of trouble getting any Syntax Highlighter plugin to work with Elementor pages. For example, Crayon does not work. Actually, nothing with the pre tag seems to work anywhere in a page that is built with Elementor. However, if I use the regular editor and not Elementor to create the page, everything works fine.
    Can anyone please suggest ways to fix this? What is causing it and how can it be fixed?
