SyntaxError JSON parse unexpected character

    This is becoming an increasingly annoying when you push an update that has not been fully tested and checked, and also full of bugs.

    Many issues v3.0.0 including the unablity to edit posts.

    SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

    Reverting to 2.9.14 breaks the design.

    Could you send me a screenshot of the issue while trying to edit the posts?
    Are you not able to load the editor?

    Have you tried temporarily disabling your plugins except Elementor 3.0.0 and check if you are able to edit your posts?

    Thanks for getting back so promptly.

    When you try to edit a post via WordPress (not Elementor) you get this error: https://pasteboard.co/JnZvxb2.jpg

    Also you can’t switch between Visual and Text in WordPress’s text editor – see screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/JnZz6c1.jpg

    Everything works fine when Elementor v3.0.0 disabled.

    Disabled all plugins apart from Elementor v3.0.0 and the issue remained.

    When reverting back to Elementor v2.9.14 some of the design backgrounds are missing.

    Just quick update. Actually, you can’t edit a post or page, or create a new post or page via WordPress (not Elementor) when Elementor v3.0.0 is enabled.

    Our dev team is aware of this issue, and working on a fix for this issue as soon as possible.

    If you roll back and see changes in your design you may try clicking on the Regenerate CSS button found in WP Dashboard > Elementor > Tools, and see if everything is back to normal.
