• The password created by the system from the “set password” link in the email sent to new students isn’t working. When a student tries to login using their username and the system generated password an “invalid username/password” error appears.

    Students can login if they then reset the password but this is not ideal

    Any suggestions please

    Hi pab1,

    I’m not sure that we can help here; the Toolkit doesn’t handle any registration functions, so an email to new students wouldn’t be from the Toolkit. The password reset one can be, but we don’t do anything with user creation. Was there a reason you thought this might be related to the Toolkit? Is the function working properly when the Toolkit plugin is disabled?

    Hi thanks for getting back to me

    It was suggested by LearnDash support that I contact you guys as I’m using the tool kit (which is great by the way!) to see if you could offer any insight into this issue.

    So I’m going round in circles now. I’ve tested the theme and all the plugins switching them on and off (including yours) to see if there is a conflict but there doesn’t seem to be a problem with either.

    Can you suggest any other area that I could test.

    Sorry pab1, I’m not following. Are you saying that when the Toolkit was disabled the password link was working or it wasn’t working? Maybe you could send a link to the support thread on LearnDash via a contact form on our website so we can take a closer look (rather than posting it to the public here). Our Toolkit doesn’t affect registration in any way though, so I’m not sure where there would be a conflict.
