• Hi,

I want to have Japanese on my website, but I can’t read Japanese very well. My whole system and interface changes to Japanese when I’m on the Japanese version of the site. Is there a way to make the interface in English even though the page is for Japanese users?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You have to set the site language “English” (Settings > General > Site Language).
Under Languagsers > Languages you add Japanese as language and set it as default language (make sure the stare is at this language, if you have more than one).

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply, but that doesn’t solve my question.
When I’m editing the Japanese version of the site in Divi builder, it’s all in Japanese. I want it to all be in English all the time. Is there a way to do that?

Do you expect a auto translation? You enter English text but the website will be showen in Japanese?
No, this is not possible with Polylang.
Polylang is a system to add multilingual support to WordPress – not auto translation.

    Not at all.

I just want system language to always be English. I will add the Japanese myself, but its hard when all the buttons show up in Japanese.

I wrote how to set up teh backends language.
If this is not working for you, and Divi builder shows all in Japanese, you should contact Divi builder developer. This is not an issue from Polylang.
