    Hi there

    Having trouble with the level upgrade.

    We are using version Versioon 3.5.1.1. I know there is an update version of the plugin available but we have added some customizations to it and an update would most probably break most of it.

    Basically we are running a video content site. The users can register for free and they are automatically included to “VV level 0”. We will allow them to see some content and if they want to see some more they need to upgrade to “VV level 1”.

    We added a custom payment gateway which allows people to use local banks and do a direct bank payment.

    Now all the process works very smoothly up until the payment has been received the user should be upgraded to the next level. This doesn’t happen, no new content is becoming available.

    I checked from the backend that the user is still on “VV level 0” even though, everything is paid and set.

    From the tests I noticed that when I got to the upgrade page I see the next level upgrade is available. That means that some form of an upgrade happened but it didn’t change the user actual access level.

    VV level 0 – Finite 1 day
    VV level 1 – Finite 15 days
    VV level 2 – Finite 15 days
    VV level 3 – Finite 15 days

    How to troubleshoot this?

    Hope you’re well today and sorry for the late response.

    This will be very difficult to troubleshoot since you’re using older version of the plugin and a custom payment gateway.

    The only thing that I could suggest is trying to use one of the available payment gateways in the plugin to see if this is related to the plugin or custom gateway that you’re using.

    If everything works fine with one of the membership payment gateways that you can seek assistance with the developer who created the gateway.
