Hi there, when someone buys more than 1 gift voucher at a time, the system only generates a single voucher and single code. Is this a limitation of the plugin or an error?

If there are two email addresses separated by a comma, the system should generate 2 different gift card numbers when the Order is Complete. It will email each gift card to a separate recipient. It will also charge for 2 gift cards. For example, if it is a $10 gift card the Cart will show a total of $20 for the item since there are 2 recipients.

Hi there, we have tried the suggestion but it didn’t work, unfortunately. The first gift card has a number generated as pasted below

    Gift Voucher: 6641077618287234

But the other gift card has this (order has been marked complete but no subsequent email is sent).

Gift Voucher: Generated and emailed after the order is marked Complete.

    Thanks.

The gift card number will only be created once the Order status is Complete. Set the Order to Complete and it should generate.

Some payment gateway plugins will jump the order directly to Complete without following the standard WooCommerce steps. If the order is already Complete, try changing the status to Processing and save it. Then change it to Complete and save to see if the gift card number is generated. If that works, change the setting “Send When Payment Received” under Pimwick Plugins > PW Gift Cards > Settings.
