System overwrites individual

Hi, because of some different meanings the german translation is not perfect. So we changed some translations to our needs. I created an individual translation file with the plugin. The problem is that everytime I logged in the system downloads the base translation of a plugin as system and shows the system one instead of my individual translation. How can I change the system translation is showing?
